wow people still can write songs that tell the story of life!
It's Apple and we know there is always "an app for that." But with Jake Walden it"s "there"s a track for that." Missing the love of your life because you are physically separated," there's a track for that!" Finally found your soul mate for whom you'd do anything, "there a track for that." Wondering if you are the only person in the world feeling isolated or alone, "there's a track for that."
Jake provides the voice for the feelings we live every day. A little Dylan, a little Springsteen and a lot of Walden. You will come back to this music time and time again. Be sure to check out his first disk too - - ALIVE AND SCREAMING.

How do you describe a CD so diverse and beautiful.. Each song so rich and full.. The story that is "Same Something Different" unfolds as each track plays. This musical narrative of a life in progress.. full of dreams.. hope and love..and what it's taken to arrive at this place in time.. The rise and fall of life.. I am in love with every song and find on any given day there is always one that speaks to my experience.. My heart..With such truth..What more can you ask.. I simply am blown away by Jake Walden and his talent..not enough stars in the heavens to rate this one.. Its AMAZING!

Jake has done it..... again. His earlier album and singles had me hooked. "Same Something Different" is indeed all that. Yes, it's music, but it's so much more and deeper. His voice and songs have so much emotion and meaning. While I love what he's already done, and will keep listening to them all, I also will anxiously await another new project in the near future. Seeing him live in Chicago was amazing, and meeting him was like I'd known him for years. Listen to his music. Let him inside your head and heart. Enjoy the experience.
