A Landmark Album
This album represents everything great about solid, definitive independent rock music. Smooth lyrics, remarkably catchy melodies and instrumentation make this CD a must have for audiophiles and people who like good music, which, I assume, is anyone who would dive this deep into the iTunes music category in order to find rare and exciting music.
Good From the Get-go
A great indie cd with outstanding music that has held up well. Of special note would be "Fake Pop Minefield", "Don't Move to the City", "Lipps", and "It's Your Fault". The variety of sounds show a band comfortable in its collective skin and showcase the vocals and musicianship of the Bryan brothers, Lenny and Rod (one-time candidate for governor of Arkansas), who are the heart of the band. Having seen this group live a number of times I'd say this cd captures their energy and spirit. Buy it. You'll be gald you did.
