Doesn't Have BoDeans Sound
Was this the first recording after Sammy left the group?
No great harmonies or mix of electric/acoustic guitars. Very dead, flat sound.
I love Kurt, but without Sammy, this don't sound much like a BoDeans song.
Nice Arrangement! Fresh! Fun!
I like the fresh take on the song. Love me some BoDeans-especially at Christmas! Love that when these guys do anything-their stuff-Christmas stuff, etc, it is their sound. True BoDeans!

Formed in 1984 by high-school friends Sammy Llanas and Kurt Neumann, the BoDeans mixed Midwestern roots rock with elements of adult contemporary pop, fashioning a sound that earned critical acclaim during the '80s and commercial recognition during the following decade.
