Salsa with a Twist
This album is salsa at its finest. The fresh spin that Alonso Brito puts on salsa music has a hint of rock that keeps you on your toes and makes you want to get up and dance. I've seen Alonso play live, which is even more fun than this CD, but if you can't have the live version, check this out.
Blown Away
My girlfriends and I saw Alonso at the King King in Hollywood after reading a review of his article in the LA Times. The show was UNREAL! My friends and I had never salsa danced before, but by the end of the night we had danced with half a dozen incredible salsa dancers and fell in love with Alonso and his music. He's like a Cuban David Bowie! I have listened to this album at least a dozen times. Incredible music for anyone with sophisticated and eclectic taste.
