A Gift to the World!

I saw Vusi live at Bonnaroo in 2003. It was the last day of the festival and the first performance on a Sunday morning. There were about 30 of us who stumbled out of our tents and were fortunate enough witness with our own eyes and ears a Gift to the World! I have seen a lot of live music in my time but this performance by far will resonate with me for the rest of my life. Between each song Vusi would give the audience a little history lesson on what the song was about and what inspiration led to its creation. It also didnt hurt that he was backed by John Medeski and Chris Wood! A must listen for everyone!!!

Amazing voice!

Saw him last night opening for Amos Lee in LA. Wow, so moving and beautiful. Incredible how much he can do with just a guitar and his voice. I am a fan!

An Inspiration

Vusi is THE MAN! Saw him perform several of these songs live and up close, and the album captures his power and energy. Vusi is proof that one man can change the world with his art.
