What a treat!

This album may not be for newer fans of FTA, but will give you a real insight into how far Brad's songwriting and recordings have come since 2001! The first 10 recordings are the original bedroom demos Brad recorded when he was 18 years old. The second half is Brad revisiting these old songs in 2009 with much more confidince and quality! I love having both versions to reference and think it's a real treat that Brad re-released this album after years of obscurity for die hard older fans!

I cant believe i just downloaded this today! i shoulda done it almost 2 yrs ago!

I was getting ready to pre order the new album when i saw this album, i couldn't believe i never had seen this album yet. This has a lot of the stuff that I first heard from him on laguna beach about 6 years ago. I agree though, for newer five times august fans this may not be for you, but none the less awesome album! keep it up and looking forward to the new album!

who is this?

Not the five times august I know and love... what happened to upbeat, meaningful songs that DON'T sound like whining? Nothing fast, nothing catchy, nothing relatable. This is a far cry from the incredible The Independent
