A rising star – not a falling one!
This is a great, watershed album by the most unusual writer and performer to come out of Nashville in years. Her songs are searingly honest, emotional, beautiful and original, the work of a very sophisticated musician and lyricist. Last month I saw her perform these songs with her band at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville and was completely blown away; she did it again with just a solo electric guitar and her pristine voice a few weeks later at Tin Pan South. She may remind you of Joni Mitchell in her prime -- she is that talented; yet she is entirely original, blending her Appalachian-tinged soprano with jazzy electric rock instrumentation. Don’t be surprised if she becomes a very big star.

1) I have never heard/heard of this artist before 2) Everyone of these tracks/songs are fresh & engaging to listen to 3) I hardly EVER download someone's entire album 4) I am downloading this entire album gratefully/greatfully because it is fully great ! 5) This might be the "Tapestry" of the millennium....
