Album Review
Vitamin's string tribute to Metallica is second fiddle to Apocalyptica's 1996 release Plays Metallica by Four Cellos; it's also not nearly as "haunting" as the breathless liner copy would have you believe. However, the set does offer a few casual thrills for the Metallica fanatic. The epic "One" is a standout, as is the sitar-tinged arrangement of "Wherever I May Roam."

Metal is a true art form
For all the critics of metal who say it's not and art form need to listen to this album and start banging their heads!!!
awesome
if there is any kind of talented musician i will listen to their music and respect it, and these are talented musicians giving a tribute to another group of very talented musicians, in a whole different form of music. therefore it rocks
apo already did it
anyone making references to apocalyptica here is right. apo did a fair amount of these songs spread across 2 albums (they didn't do ride the lightning, thru the enver, and justice, or hero of the day). however, apo's arrangement of the songs is much better. for example in their cover of one, apo really brings out all the parts. here, some are mixed down or forgotten. and they did it first (in the ninties). the one catch with the apo matter is that they became a band instead of a cover group, and these guys have been doing covers for a while it seems. all in all, its ok, but not up to my standards
