Excellent. Period!
Scarce is such a fun and uplifting album. Each song carries a simple but profound message about life, hope and despair. If you are a fan of any sort of folk genre (the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Derek Webb or Iron and Wine), then you should definitely sample EP's tunes. "You Can Be Yourself," for example, is a catchy and engaging tune of encouragement and optimism while Metropolis carries a sobering message of its own. EP is a must listen-to!
Eric Peters is spectacular!
All of Eric's CDs are absolutely amazing, but it seems that each one is even better than the previous. With the newest album, Scarce, Eric takes things to a whole new level. Mr. Peters has an album full of everything I love about music. He speaks to my heart and mind just as much as any other artist out there. With songs like "Radiate", "You can be yourself", and "You come over me" he gives me a chance to just roll the windows down and have fun, screaming the lyrics as loud as possible! Then on songs such as "The Storm", "Save something for grace" and my favorite at the moment, "Long Road" Eric shows just how deep and profound his songwriting can be. Buy this Album and every other one that Eric has put out, you definitely wont regret it!
ERIC PETERS MUSIC IS AMAZING!!!
I also was fortunate enough to meet Eric this summer. He is an amazing singer, songwriter, performer, and person in general. I bought this cd over 5 months ago, and some songs still give me goosbumps. His songs are truly spectacular with lyrics that are always heartfelt. This is the part in my review where id list my favorite songs of this cd. Problem is, every track is amazing. All of these songs will leave you wanting more Eric.
