holy sh*t! it's true! :D

my best friends band is on itunes! thats so awesome! you should definitly buy this cd, if you happen to stumble upon this. it's wonderful, and seriously, the brothers in this band are amazing, they're definitly gonna be famous someday! and the lead singer/ bassist is amazing too! his range is phanominal!

The Cure Kit!

I didn't know this album existed until I heard Jay Graysdon on the Inside Musiccast Podcast. I have several of Jay's CD's and of course first heard of him through his well know Steely Dan guitar work (Peg), and Grammy winning song writing (After the Love Is Gone, Turn Your love Around). I have heard of Randy Goodrum through his writing with Steve Lukather and Michael McDonald. Still I was not prepared for this CD. The songs are gems, both clever and thoughful. The production in on the cusp of perfection ( I would have preferred a real band, but the drum/bass programming is first rate). Of course the guitar and keyboard work is the best. Randy's vocals are effective though the album could use additioanl background vocal help. Stand out tracks: Cure Kit, Your Heartbreak, Scene 29. Looking forward the the next Jar album!

Everything good about music in one album.

I truly love this album. It's got it all; funky/jazzy rhythms, catchy lyrics, virtuos instrumentation, and a sense of humor. Not to mention Jay Graydon and Randy Goodrum are two of the most prolific musicians I can think of. They put everything I love about music in one album. I will certainly be listening to this album the rest of my days. -Steve
