Brilliant!

The trout is absolutely my favorite Schubert piece and this rendition of it should be enough of a reason to get this. Very upbeat performance from this quintet. It really evoked a lot of feelings of pleasure listening to it. What makes this performance so spectacular though, I think, is you can really here them just having a lot a fun with the trout. Unfortunately though I do not have as much experience with Arpeggione or Die Forelle to make an informed comparison. The trout was more than enough to do it for me!

I bought this album four days ago, and I've already listened to it six times. Exquisite music, masterfully played. Ranging from light-hearted to passionate...just wow!
