Definitive recording of Op. 44 (not 22) and Op. 47
The performance and the quality of the recording are both outstanding. I hope that Apple can correct the title (it says Op. 22 instead of 44) so that no one looking for this recording misses out. Why this recording has not received a rosette in the Penguin Guide is beyond me.

I bought this cd after watching a beautiful performance for Op.44 by Mark Morris Dance Group. This is an excellent recording of Schumann's Piano Quintet and Quartet. It transports me to a beautiful and happy place.
