Scotland Remembers the Alamo
Anyone who has studied the Alamo, let alone any Texas who appreciates the powerful influence that the Scots had on the history of their great state, will enjoy this brilliantly conceived and beautifully performed tribute. The roots of Country and Western music penetrate deeply into Celtic soil. Indeed, many of the most popular and best known Western tunes had new lyrics grafted onto traditional Irish and Scottish melodies. And, yes, it is known that there was a piper who fought and died at the Alamo. So, if you enjoy exploring these fine traditions while listening to some superb music, you will enjoy this very unique album.
