This one's a stunner
I got hooked on this music from sampling the previews. And the album itself doesn't disappoint. It is worthy of multiple plays, and the enjoyment of each track just doesn't diminish. Just A Band has an incredible grasp of its material - each instrument and vocal is an individual ingredient artfully arranged and prepared to create a bountiful banquet of sound. While Oh Ndio makes use of a retro feel-good bounce to carry it along, Bye Bye maintains an introspective and mellow, almost melancholic feel. Funkyfinebeautiful and Hey! keep the energy flowing unabashedly. All through the album, the Band stays true to its Electronica influences -- truly avant-garde for its time and region (East Africa, baby!) -- and still knows when to kick back and have a good time. I recommend this album unreservedly. Buy it, plug your headphones in, sit back and immerse yourself in the Just a Band sound. You'll enjoy it a great deal.

Experimental Boy Band!!. Nice one :) The album is dope. Dont know what the other "ONE" is talking about. Enda Kazi (No jokes:). Anyways LP is dope and for an African Group, it's a definate buy . Just- a- Band check your inbox. Twende kazi.

There seem to be 2 Just A Band groups. So please, like a normal buyer, preview before you buy. This album is by a Kenyan house/dance group. On the topic: I love it.. I love "Have You Seen Her" with Sara mitaru.. Keep it up guys!
