AWESOME!
Matthew Griswold is a Minneapolis based singer/songwriter who has created an awesome album of songs. While not overtly dealing with war, Matthew is a military veteran who served in Iraq. Many of the songs seem to have served as a cathartic expression of feelings that he has had since returning to civilian life in the US. All of the songs are impressive, but I particularly like 'Crazy', 'Shadows of the Sun', and 'Unbridled'.
Highly recommended!
Top Notch
I rarely give an album 5 stars but I will for this one. Being an MP and Veteran myself I had to see what he was alll about and I was noot dispointed. Extrememly souldful and thought provoking in the vein of Springsteens more intimate moments. When he sings you can tell he has a story to tell. I cannot say enough good about this man or his music. Give it a chance! You will n ot be dispointed!
