Exceptional
The Screaming Souls' latest album, IV, is in some ways a return to their rock roots. Many songs on this album have more of a Led Zeppelin-esque quality to them(perhaps the album's title being a nod in this direction), especially "Sorry" and "No Painful Sunrise" which are reminiscent of Zeppelin's "No Quarter" and "Kashmir." Barry Kingston's lyrics are quite powerful and evocative especially on "What I've Got" and "After." The album's best song however may be "Train Don't See Me" which is hauntingly beautiful, and stays with you long after it's over. IV may rock a little harder than the Screaming Souls' previous albums, but their catchy sense of fun is not certainly not lost.

I say Barry live just last night at my retreat and he was amazing!! All of the songs really mean something to him and I think that's great. Awesome CD!
Totally AWESOME CD!
OMG!!! Barry's music is AWESOME!!!!! I've been to all 3 retreats that have been offered to me, and Barry's music is a big part of what made them so fun!!! However, I wish that they had Padlock Jodie!!! :( That one is my FAVORITE!!!!! :)
