Great Vol. 2 for a GREAT show...
Although I think the first soundtrack was a tad better overall (and to be fair, it was actually issued on CD, not as an iTunes playlist "exclusive"), this is still a great mix of songs from one of the best shows on TV. Scrubs is one of the few shows that uses musical cues creatively and diagetically to help aid the story, rather than just introduce a montage (ahem, Grey's Anatomy -- which I also love, but that isn't nearly as effective musically). Scrubs Vol. 2 includes some great songs from seasons 3 - 5, most notably "Winter" by Joshua Radin (I reccomend buying his entire album), "Our Love" by Rhett Miller and "Question" by The Old 97s. Although Season 5 was less represented (it would have been nice to have "How to Save a Life" -- considering Scrubs was the first show to use that song), Joseph Arthur's "In the Sun" is still a great addition to any soundtrack. A tad dis-jointed (the Polyphonic Spree really could have been omitted -- I realize they guest starred on the show, but that song is so overplayed), but still very enjoyable -- I reccomend this to any Scrubs fan or fan of more lo-fi/less mainstream music.

Worth waiting for!
Once again, from the fine creators of the funniest/thoughtful show on t.v., a soundtrack that introduces us to true Artists. The companion to the soundtrack for the first seasons, this soundtrack doesn't disappoint. I was just thinking it was time for Volume 2 and here it is! Enjoy!!! Don't forget to pick up the DVD's and downloads of the show, it will change your life forever. In fact, you will never have to take a multi-vitamin again!
