consistent and fantastic
What I love best about the Jason Spooner trio is their ability to maintain consistancy in their music. Their not sell-outs. You can always count on hearing the same great, folk, funky and rock-like sound in all of their albums. It's not as if its a boring sound either. Regardless of keeping their same roots within their genre, each album is up-beat and different. Makes for an exciting experience for the listener. These guys are great. Sea Monster is genius.
Just a great album...
By far Jason's best album...really mature and quite frankly one of the few cd's that I would say 'just buy it'. Not as good as seeing him live, but it's the next best thing...not enough artists like this out there. Great music, great lyrics, really just an awesome piece of work by the Jason, Reed and Adam.
Amazing Group
Saw them live, they opened for BB King. They were outstanding. I liked their music so much I actually bought their CD at the show. Jason was friendly and appreciative to all the fans. Love this group. Hope they come back to NC sometime soon. In concert is even better than the recorded music.
