Good band!
Bought this album for the Ehron VonAllen remix and Mortiis remix and discovered an awesome band. Leather Strip is good stuff
Good Stuff
Leaether Strip IS good stuff!! I've been listening to them since the early 90's ( along with Skinny Puppy ). Check out their music from the 1980's-90's. Claus Larsen ( the man of the band) is a sound and lyrical genious! Want to know who Nine Inch Nails got thier sound from? Look no further than bands like Leaether Strip, Skinny Puppy, Throbbing Gristle, Klute, Pigface, etc. that were not wrapped up in little pretty commercialized MTV crap like Nine Inch Nails and therefor never got the commercial push ( which I'm glad actually).
One song I definitely recommend is a remix by the german band Funker Vogt ( another one of my favorites) of the Leaether Strip song
" Hate Me! " If that song doesn't want to make you get up and stomp around and dance like an industrial night club spazz, then you, my friends, need help!! :P
