Huge step forward
This album is a huge step forward in songwriting for Jimmy. It's mature, deeply personal, and yet fun and upbeat most of the time. At the risk of resorting to Pitchfork style hyperbole, this album could be considered the first of many classic albums released by Jimmy Robbins.
JIMMY IS AWESOME! =)
saw him play live for the first time at the house of blues anaheim with mitchel musso, and i've been in love with his music since then. the album is great =) it's extremely rare for me to find an album that i like every song on, but this is definitely one of those albums. IF you're thinking twice about getting this whole album, dont! just do it. you won't regret it. The songs are all extremely catchy, the lyrics are creative, and the musicality of the whole album is great. =) Jimmy Robbins is definitely the next big thing to look out for, so get his album for sure. you'll love it =)
THIS ALBUM IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY..
Jimmy Robbins is amazing =D I remember the first time I ever heard him. I was randomly browsing for new songs on the iTunes store and came across Hey You, which got me to check him out on Myspace, and i've been in love with him and his music ever since. Whether it's acoustic or not, Jimmy's music is real and wonderful. He writes all of his songs from his heart and is a totally cool, down-to-earth guy. This album is great in so many ways: not only are there some of his older songs that he re-did, like Surgery, Breathe Again, and Everything To You, but there are some awesome new ones that you can get the chance to learn and love if you just buy this CD. I promise it'll be worth it. =] And I bet Jimmy would want to say Olive Juice to everyone who buys his album...lol.
