Exceptional.

I am surprised that this band is not big yet. They are pretty much perfect in every way, and they have grown musically since their previous album, Chapters. If you like VersaEmerge, you'll notice that they are very similar in two ways:
1-They are like Paramore, but with better lyrics and background music, and
2-They are AWESOME.
Living in Pretense: This is an amazing song, with a powerful chorus. It would be the song I'd want a music video for, as the chorus seems fitting for a vid. The intro of the song sounds like an underwater type of thing. I actually have no clue what pretense means, but I don't care, the song is still good.
Open Fields and Living Skies: Probably my favorite lyrically. I love the meaning behind it, or at least what it means in my eyes. "But we all leave home into the unknown, and leave love's warm embrace just to find our place." is my favortie part.
The Release: A more laid-back song, possibly, but still very good. It is light hearted almost, maybe because of the acoustic guitar, but still captivating and memorable. Mabe it reminds me of Tonight Alive, maybe its better.
Escaping the Transience: A beautiful song, with what I think is a meaning similar to VersaEmerge's Clocks, about how we all have a limited amount of time here. Not my favorite, but great anyways. The part about wilting is the best, because I can connect with it on an entirely different level than the music itself.
Cold and Captive: Amazing. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Lyrics exceeded my expectations, and the vocals are powerful. Bianca is just a wonderful singer. I thought this was going to be the first track on the CD, maiunly because it sounds most like what could be called a single on the CD."Each day is a masquerade and underneath I am decayed." Poetic and very emotional. The part about finally breathing is also very strong, and Bianca's vocals are just too good to be true... not that I doubt her voice's legitimacy or anything.
I know they are going to be signed to a big record label or something at this rate, and I can't wait til I see them on iTunes advertisements or hear them on the radio. Also, irrelevant, but one thing I especially like about this album is the cover. It is just brilliantly created. Then there is the vocals, the background music, the lyrics, and possibly even the song names; which are more creative than any others I have on my iPod.
This band is going to be big, soon. I am sure of this. Can't wait for more.
