In the tradition of bands like Air
Hey, an American version of the French band "Air", only a bit jazzier and less kitchy (for better or worse). "A Night In Paris" is a great track, but the real standout on the record is the closing, "Modern Age," which features surprisingly-effective vocoder vocals and deliciously sarcastic lyrics.
Downtempo Goldmine
Sensual Ambience is a goldmine of smooth, jazzy down tempo music that is perfect for a romantic evening with someone you love. The title song (subtitled "Paris Movie") evokes relaxed, rainy days in Paris while Cathedral Interlude is a dreamy, reflective song. The two versions of Endless Possibilities display the range of the group with two very different approaches to the song. The last four tracks are a bonus EP of more dance-oriented songs that further display the range and virtuosity of the group although the continuity between styles is still obvious. The album is a real find and highly recommended
