Customer Reviews

Raw, but good.

Ofcourse this isn't the most refined effort you'll come across. It's early, and uncut. But it's rawness I think adds some emotion to it. This probably isn't for everyone but some of Nonpoint's best songs are on here that have not been released on a major label. "No Say" is amazing, so is "Two Tone". Even the songs that have been redone and bettered, still have something special in these origionals. The only unlistenable song is "Victim", which the verision off of the Statement albulm is among their best songs. A must have for any true Nonpoint fan.

Brings me back...

This brings me back to the night I went down to the South Beach Pub in Miami and bought this cd right after I saw Nonpoint perform. When Statement came out I was proud of Nonpoint for their success but missed the original versions of songs like Mindtrip, Double Stacked, Victim and The Piper. This is a great album because it shows the evolution to what Nonpoint was to what they are today. Def. worth a listen!

de la rocha much?

this is before nonpoint discovered their own sound. they seem like they're trying really hard to sound like RATM. you can especially hear it in songs like "Double Stacked". we should all feel glad that this immensely talented band came up with their own unique style now and we have the other albums they've put out to enjoy.
