Mixed sound
Mark's definitely matured in his sound while keeping to his roots. He's grown in style, adding heavier bass and drums and experimenting with beats more. I think this is a great progression from "The Greatest Lakes" and I'm so excited to hear what's coming next.
Different from what I'm used to...
To be honest I was a little disappointed with this one. I have a lot of respect for Mark Rose but it sounds like he's getting away from what got me into him. I hate to say it but I felt like I was listening to a Ryan Cabrera record.
this album is awesome
Album sounds great.
1. I made out with my girlfriend for 2 hours while having "Everything" on repeat.
2. My mom really liked "Sell it To Me".
3. If Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel were ever in a band together, they would make a song like "Make This Move".
I can't wait for the full length!
