The best car album we have
My toddler wants to hear this album at least four times a week, and I hardly mind. The songs are at least half familiar, but the framing story is adorable - and the Henson/Oz/Spinney etc. original voices are charming beyond belief. Listen for Ernie's "Is there a second verse to that song?" and laugh while your kid wonders what's funny.
I LOVE THIS!!!
I'm so excited I found this! When I was little I used to make my parents play this TAPE (yes, Tape), over and over again in the car. One day our car got "broken into" and this was the only thing they took...(is what my parents told me). Years later I'm now 30 and have had my first son. I can't believe I found this album. I still remember it like it was yesterday and the same part in "The Limerick Song", when the Count starts singing, still scares me. HaHa. I can't wait to share this with my child now...and make my parents listen to it all over again!
