Nice EP
First off, I have to mention that I have already heard Sound Awake, and it's awesome. Sure it's a more progressive album, but it's perfect, even better than Themata. Just don't expect the whole album to be like SFTTH, which, while a great song, sounds more like it belongs on Themata than it does on Sound Awake.
Now for the review: You've got the reissue of Themata, which is excellent, and Set Fire and it's accompanying video, which are also must haves. Hearing Roquefort with the horns was pretty cool too, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Last but not least, we have Deadman, which is, in my opiinion, the magnum opus of Karnivool's work so far. It's so mind-blowingly awesome, and just hearing that song alone would be enough to keep me drooling at the mouth for SA when it finally comes out in the U.S.
Final review: perfect stopgap piece
