Customer Reviews

Amazing album, buy the whole cd!

This cd is easily one of my favorite cd's I have ever heard. Every song is fantastic. This is my track by track review 1. Say Hello: Great opening song, good vibe, sets the mood for the rest of the cd, one of the best songs on the cd. 5/5 2. Mexico: Trippy song, great guitar and sound effects, really unique song compared to the rest of the album, but still a good song. 3.5/5 3. Set Sail: The standout song from the cd, one of my favorite songs ever, it just puts you in a great mood. if you only buy one song, buy this one. 5/5 4. Impressions: Another great song, love those dj scratches. One of the best sung songs on the cd, and ends with a crazy keyboard solo. I'll give it a 4.5/5 5. Green Girl: Okay song, i just didn't feel it as much as the other songs. Although it does have one of the best guitar solos on the cd. 3.75/5 6. Habit: Another song that really stands out, it's alot more mellow than the other songs. The guitar on this song is great, and the 2nd verse is one of the best raps on the cd. another 5/5 7. Cool-Aid: Pretty funny song, one of their mostly rap songs. You can't help from bouncing along to this song, one of my personal favorites. 4.25/5 8. Ocho Rios: Great summer song, makes you think of the beach. good guitar, and has THE best rap verse on the cd imo. 4.5/5 9. Alright: Don't have much to say about this song, other than i like it. 4.25/5 10. Sweet Summertime: Another great summer song, puts you in a carefree mood. 4/5 11. Throwdown: Filler track, but still pretty good. Underrated song. 3.75/5 12. Another Man's Shoes: Another mellow track like habit, one of the best songs on the cd. A song with a great message and the harmonica pushes the song to another level. 4.5/5 13: Scream: Another great guitar track, not one of my favorite tracks but still better than anything most bands are putting out. 3.75/5 14: Kind: Acoustic Song, shows another side of the band. the chillest song on the cd, and has fantasic guitar. Really personal song. 4/5 In conclusion, This cd doesn't have a bad song on it, it's great for the summer, or just listen to to cheer you up when your feeling down. this band doesn't sound like anyone else except for the movement, and the songs never get old. So just buy the cd, you won't regret it.

Breakout Album

Josh Jordan's and Chris D's work on this album is unbelievable. This is the kind of album you can press play and kick back and listen to the whole thing all the way through. This Album is a must have if your into Slightly Stoopid and other Reggae/Rock bands. Can't wait to see em Set Sail on tour.

An instant classic for this genre...

Add this one to those select few albums that you listen to start to finish every time you toss it on. I can honestly say that if you've yet to check this album out, do with it what you wish you had done on the first listen of some other albums you've come to love -- get yourself comfy in a chill spot at your place on a nice day, pop it in, sit back, relax and take a good clean listen to it, through and through. It'll put a big grin on your face for sure. No other band really comes to mind when listening to these guys, I don't hear tinges of Slightly Stoopid or Sublime -- when I listen I just hear The Movement -- they've got their own blend going and it's working. No wonder so many people are starting to take notice of this group. Enjoy.
