Not a "jazzy country" tune

This is a classic blues number, written and originally recorded by Slim Harpo. This isn't the best version but it's far from the worst. Joan has soul. Anybody who can't identify the blues might want to abandon music criticism and take up finger painting.

So glad Joan is coming out with a new record

Joan Osborne is a truly talented artist. I am anxious to hear the rest of this CD when it comes out in March.

So great in concert

Heard Joan in a benefit concert last night and this blues number was sooooo good live! The recording doesn't do it justice, anymore than the "finger-painting" reviewer who didn't recognize it as a blues song. Joan was amazing in a small, acoustic setting and this number sizzled.
