Just what I hoped for
Their melodies refreshing, lyrics thought-provoking, and overall vibe intoxicating, I can't help but love this album. Junebug is an amazing mix of strong musicality, pants-kicking wit and feel-good factor, and the album holds the magic of their live shows, which is so important. I was looking forward to hearing Share, and it didn't let me down! Favorite tracks? ...m'lady, share, moon over the water. They're good medicine. Thanks Junebug!!!
Junebug hits a home run...
You gotta love an album that you can throw on in your car, at the gym, or at the house and never skip through a track...literally. Junebug understands what the pace of an album should be- pushing, pulling, bobbing, and weaving at all the right times. A Little funky, a little rock, a little bluegrass, a helluva lot of fun!!! If you love great independent rock 'n roll- give this album a try...you won't regret it!!!
Fresh as a "Spring Fever" and as chilled out as "Summertime"
From the opening and ending instrumental gems to the non-cliched love songs like "M'Lady" and "So True" to the songs like "Last Night", "Place", and "Good Vibes" that somehow make you say "man this songs takes me back" as if you've heard them before during some time in your life when things were simple. The bonus of this album is the good work on songs that will make you tilt your head and ponder, while at the same time let you relax and hear lush productions, check out "Share" and "Moon Over the Water". Oh and don't forget to rock your socks off to "Chosen Ones".
