She Drives Me Crazy was originally recorded by the UK’s Fine Young Cannibals, and included on their 1989 album titled, The Raw and the Cooked. It reached the #5 position on the UK charts, while it was a #1 Billboard® hit in the USA.
For 2012, CAPP Records and DJ Skillmaster revisit the track. More than just a simple cover treatment, CAPP reinterprets the track for today’s audiences, and brings to the party a number of top-notch remixes that make it work for any dance audience. We start with a remix from one of the hottest production teams on the planet: DJs From Mars. These Italian boys deliver the preeminent mix of the track with their trademark energetic sound. The amazing Topmodelz drop an incredible hands-up treatment, while German super- producer and DJ Andrew Spencer adds his unique filter house remix to the project. A killer original mix rounds-out the package.
We think you’ll agree that She Drives Me Crazy is a perfect release for the new year! DJ Skillmaster is Martin Stack (a/k/a DJ Skillmaster) and production partner Mark Gamble. A long-time professional DJ, Skillmaster burns-up the dance floors in and around his home in the British Midlands, and throughout England. Beyond his DJ chops, he is a competent composer and vocalist, while he works closely with his studio partner Mark Gamble on their production projects—of which She Drives Me Crazy is merely the latest example. Prior to Crazy, this incredible duo was responsible for the smash CAPP release Summertime, whose music video was produced by none other than Dany Wild—who also brought his talents to bear on the video for this release, which was filmed on the streets of Amsterdam.

I always thought She Drives Me Crazy would have been better in a faster tempo. Now DK Skillmaster has delivered this. The model in the music video is absolutely beautiful.
