If I could purchase an idividual track ... it might recieve a higher rating!
Dana Fuchs. Does anyone know who that is? I want the song "Some Kind of Heaven" but apparantly you can't buy individual tracks off this album. That isn't fair and its a horrible marketing technique to whatever Label this album is on. I'd be more apt to purchase the song individually instead of this whole album ... as the whole album isn't exactly spectacular or anything, with exception to that one song -- and a few others -- I'd pass on this album. Good movie though.
An amazing movie...but...
Sherrybaby is an excellent movie about the reality of drug addiction. And beyond that, it's a tour de force performance by Maggie Gyllenhaal who NAILS the struggling angry recovering heroin addict youngish mom with a PO thing. Five stars. That said, iTunes: Come on. Let me just buy "When I Find My Life" the lovely acoustic track from the closing credits. I don't want the whole album.
Unrateable as usual Gyllenhaal is just overwhelming
Movie excellent some songs excellent Some kind of heaven an instant classic. Itunes - pretty selfish to make this pitiful conditional attempt for a money grab. Please I am somewhat new to Itunes and as a musician and songwriter very unhappy at the effect this has on obviously talented musicians and writers. There are 19 songs on this ALBUM but the film only lists and plays about 8 or so counting the eternal flame etc. I will probably buy this album maybe now or maybe soon or maybe I will just look for a cd in the store. Its unfair to me and to the musicians like Fuchs and the writers like livesey. Give people a break if I liked the song enough by Fuchs and the two or three I would have purchased by the song I may have bought the album or more songs by the artists if you had them. Instead I am angry at you / does this make sense? PS I own 3 creative players and so far find them to be superior because of little items like this and some of their superior abilities. I know you have the ability, why do you hurt yourself like this you are hurting your credibility. Hope you have the honesty to allow this criticism to be posted. PS AGAIN Steve Jobs you guys have the ability to be the best in every way why do you settle for being the most popular sold and not the best. Hmc
