An Oddity & A Gem
Boy, are the musical influences broad on this album: Part nostalgic, part grandiose with a injection of hip electronica (think; Hotel Costes, Phat Boy Slim). Parov Stelar marches to his own oddly unique rythym and hopes others come on for the ride. This is the type of music that is played in trendy enviroments like clothing boutiques, hip hotels and chic restaurants. A few songs stand out as radio friendly if picked up by an alternative/elctro station, (Come Closer, Shine), but overall this is good stylish background music by an explorartory artist.

Amazing. Parov's musical talent is far ahead of the competition.
Broad, wonderful and creative.
This album is a fantastic breakout from the typical mundane offerings we have to weed through to get to the good stuff, this is the reward. Bright, dark, up, down, quick, slow, it has it all. Buy it and give it the time it deserves to get to your ears. Twilight Singers meets Recoil meets Koop meets U.N.K.L.E meets DJ Shadow. Very nice. It will get better with each listen.
