A breath of fresh air
Neil does a great job of producing a worship album that not only could bring us into a worshipful spirit on Sunday morning, but also makes us want to turn it up in our cars throughout the week! I'm excited about what our Lord is doing in Neil's life and music, and how this album will bless many!
Not Your Cookie Cutter Worship Music
There are very few worship artists out there that take big chances. The words are uplifting, but you always know what will be produced and what to expect. Neil's new album Shining, does just that, it takes a chance. It takes a chance by not falling prey to the same old things we come to expect musically from this genre. The words are powerful and the music is well, thoughtfully musical. The songs vary greatly and give a wonderful representation of what a well-rounded album should sound like.
If you like Charlie Hall, Bebo Norman or Lincoln Brewster, the great artists that have taken chances in my opinion, Neil will fit right in to the mix and bring new stuff you might not have expected.

A Rare Treat
Neil Greenhaw's debut effort "shines" in a unique way. "Shining" is an album that both engages the worshiper's heart and the rocks melodiously sweet. Greenhaw has integrated rocking guitar sounds that you hear in popular rock with lyrics that are honest but biblical. If your looking for a new approach to worship through music, then "Shining" is for you. With tracks like "Shining" and "Surrender", you can rocks as much as you want to. And if your looking for tenderness, "God of All Days" is a gentle but epic proclamation of God's hand in our lives.
Tired of complaining about Christian music? Tired of the same old thing? Try on Neil Greenhaw's "Shining" and thou shalt complaineth no more. Great debut from a great new talent, you will not want to miss this one.
