MOREL. Best gay act making music today. Mind blowing.
Got to see and hear Rich Morel and Bob Mould play an incredible set at BLOWOFF in San Diego recently. I had a great time. I was inspired having only heard Queen of the Highway and Lucky Strike, Queen being my favorite.
Inspired I decided to download the Flawed EP, The Death of the Paperboy, and The Death of the Paperboy DISC-O. All I can saw is WOW. WOW! The talent on display here is jaw dropping. Flawed is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and both the original and remixes are amazing, gorgeous tracks. Every time I listen to that track, I am in awe. Here is a newer track called Shoegazer Disco. Another great club track on the edgier side of the dance floor. That's where Morel gears his music and I LOVE IT!!
Please give this song a chance. It's good and very, very well composed and produced. Morel is a talent to be reckoned with. I can't figure out why he hasn't become more of a star. Does the fact that he's openly gay have anything to do with it?
There aren't many singers or performers who are gay that I would say I like. Morel is better than many straight artists.
