Fantastic!

This album features some great punk rock songs by none other than Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong. The songs are all very catchy and will stick in your heads for hours. The only thing I ask is for iTunes to get more Pinhead Gunpowder as they have many many more albums. Anyway if you like punk or Green Day you should really look into buying this album. You won't regret it!

A Solid Album

Unlike many of the people reviewing, I'm not going to compare this to "billy's" (its BILLIE JOE) other band, Green Day. Pinhead Gunpowder is band that at least deserves the decency to get reviewed for THEIR sound, not Green Day's. That being said: This is a good album. Not that great, but this album definitely showcases their mix of the rawness of punk music and melodic vocals. Some songs are a little repetitive (compare "Kathleen" and "Junkpile" to see what I mean.), but the overall effect is of a great band with great lyrics and fun music. If you want to hear some truly amazing Pinhead Gunpowder material, buy "Compulsive Disclosure" from Lookout! Records or Adeline (until iTunes gets it).

Pinhead Gunpowder is a great band, but any group could be amazing if their lead singer was Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. The songs are a bit short, but every second is awsome. Pinhead Gunpowder is one of the best unknown punk bands out their.
