Good but far from Great
When it comes to Trance music, TyDi is among the very best for his original sound, exquisite melodies and transporting vocals. In that respect, this album is incredible. The vocals of this album take you on a sensual adventure that gives you shivers; the beat drops make your adrenaline pump and soar; and the imaginative sound of TyDi reverberates throughout.
But, I am not entirely hooked… unfortunately. These songs are too short. On his previous album, “Look Closer,” his songs were allowed to tell a story and complete a narrative. This time around, the songs just warm up and then fade out. Trance is known for long songs. Why is that not acknowledged here?
Overall, it is a strong album, but falls short of the incredible product I was expecting. My favorite songs are: “Sex, Lies & Still Oblivious,” “Yes That Did Just Happen,” “The Camera Doesn’t Lie, but You Do,” and “Long Nights On Fast Planes.” If you don’t want to buy the full album, these songs are all you need.
Perfection in an audible form.
A beautiful blend of mixed emotions that only a true DJ can expose. This album is worth every penny. Great job TYDI.
Very good album
This is a great album with some great vocals and very creative melodic trance tracks. I do agree with one of the previous quotes that many of the tracks feel way to short. You really start getting into and then it just ends.
Over all a very good album though, i highly recommend it!
