iTunes Review
Hailing from a scene that few people follow (Kansas City, Missouri), Tech N9ne Collabos has developed a sound that doesn’t resemble anything else in hip-hop. Forgoing the glitz and glamour of Top 40 rap music, Sickology 101 delves into a strange and wonderful blend of horrorcore lyricism and heavy metal attitude. Reinforced by army of peers — including Krayzie Bone, Crooked I, Chino XL, and a squadron of Kansas City affiliates — Sickology sizzles with unbridled energy. The beats fill up every inch of space, as N9ne raps from the point of view of a true independent. “Blown Away” is the perfect summation of N9ne’s ethos: “Mainstream ignored a bro / And they be petty, so jealousy is sure to show / But they rich and got more to blow / And everything's affordable / But they gotta go before me / Because their stage show is horrible.” Sickology 101 proves that self-determination, hard work, and singular sonic vision are more than enough to elevate a Kansas City outcast to the ranks of kings.
Customer Reviews
Class is in Session
Tech N9ne, Many know him, but many choose to live without him in their lives. Tech always brings what is in his heart. He never folds, he never gives you 90%, It is always 200% on everything. He deserves more respect in the music world, but for everybody that knows who Tech is and what he stands for (which to me is to be you and always do what you want how you, to make sure you don't give in and never give up with anything that you come across in your life, and just to have fun) knows that this is true. Sickology 101 the second installment of Tech N9ne Collabos brings the listener all of that Tech N9ne sound that they know and love. He starts his Class with "Sicology 101" and it is a great way to start off the album. Fast paced, hard hitting banger. He brings back the quick tounges of the midwest in "Midwest Choppers 2" which is a great track that will have your mind trying to catch up to the artists. "Ghetto Love" brings the three kings of Strange music together for a track which is very similar to the feel of MLK which is nice to see. Then he takes off with three great songs, "Poh Me Anutha", "We Kixin' It" and "Nothin'".All of these songs are classic Tech N9ne sound great songs maybe some of my favorite on the album. "Nothin'" is single of the album and has great lyrics and great instrumentals that make it a hit, if you haven't already preview that sound and of course buy the album. "In The Air" is a great song which even I had toget my binoculars out to see Tech. Sickoloy 101 continues on with upbeat songs until about track 13 when Tech starts to get real deep with "Dysfunctional" and "Far away". These are some of my favorite types of Tech because it makes you think. "Red Nose" finishes off the album, which is very good, its about how he is treated because he is different from what iscurrently mainstream. Then there is a bonus track, which is a fun song called "Areola" whichis a fun song that very well might make you scream out WHOOP AREOLA! randomly in public. Overall Tech and the rest of Strange Music Inc. bring nothing less then what is expected to come from them. Tech doesn't change his style up for anybody, he does what he does and that earns my respect. After listening to "Sickology 101" fans of Tech and Strange Music will be excited and waiting forthe next album from Strange Music Inc. If this is the 1st time for anybody listening to Tech N9ne, after listening to this you will need to go get some more Tech N9ne, I'm sure you will find many tracks and albums that will fit your listening preferences. Tech, We love you keep up the good work.

Tecca Ninna the Masta
this album is straight up sick. can't wait for K.O.D.'s release in October. anyone who denies tech n9ne's talent obviously knows nothing about hip hop or music in general.
