Customer Reviews

Good Lord, finally.

Somebody tipped me off about this band over the summer and I have since snapped up everything that i-tunes offered. I was thrilled today to finally get their first LP downloaded. This band has quickly become a favorite of mine as their music has a familiar comfort to it but a unique perspective. Unafraid to use all manner of instruments, Mumford and Sons have created a sound that has been sorely lacking in a market saturated with over produced dance tracks, brooding EMO, and mostly lackluster attempts at folk.
Brilliant first effort and I look forward to many more albums from Mumford and Sons and am really hoping to catch them live.

I've been waiting forever for this album to finally make it to America. The banjo charged boot stomping anthems have made it impossible to turn this album off. Excellent!

Just plain GREAT music

This is the kind of music that we need! After regretfully watching the Grammy's this year and seeing the overproduced, heartless, mannequin led bands take home "awards", this is exactly the remedy I needed. These guys are fighting the good fight! I get spoiled here in Minneapolis with lots of great local music and the savior that is The Current radio station, but this band blew me away......it's a confluence of Charlie Parr, The Pogues, and the Stones!!

Buy it!
