iTunes Review

In the '60s, Stevie Wonder made some of Motown's best singles. In the '70s, he matured, using his newfound creative freedom to craft some of the most thoughtful music of the decade. What makes Signed, Sealed, Delivered such an explosively great album is that it captures him at a flashpoint. The title track remains one of Motown's most exuberant single, and that giddy joy continues through "Candy," "Anything You Want Me To Do," and a cover of "We Can Work It Out" that makes the Beatles sound like they slept through the original. "I Can't Let Heaven Walk Away" and "Don't Wonder Why" are the first glances of how the adult Stevie would go on to change musically over the years.

Stevie Wonder is a genius. His version of "We Can Work It Out" is so completely different from the Beatles', but it's so amazing at the same time! Classic album.
