Genesis of Excellence
One of my favorite albums. This is a solid release by Poets of the Fall. The first songs that grabbed my attention were {Late Goodbye, Lift, Everything Fades, Illusion & Dream} Four Perfect Songs. This doesn't diminish the value of the other tracks. Every song is incredible. No regrets here.
this album rocks
the poets are from finland are all over mtv europe both this and their second album carnival of rust both went double platinum in europe. their song "Late Goodbye" was used in the videogame Max Payne 2 during the end credits of the game. itunes thank you for putting this gem out there for people to grab. I highly recommend it, no one in the U.S sounds like them
Great Album!
Signs of Life is a really solid first album. There are no bad songs on it. It's got a nice balance of pop/rock and ballads. I listen to the whole CD front to back. My personal favorites are: 3 AM, Someone Special and Illusion & Dreams. I'm so excited to finally see Poets of the Fall on iTunes. I've been a fan since the beginning and I can't wait for them to be discovered in the US!
