His Best Work Yet
Silver Island is the strongest of Surkin's EP's, and indicates that Surkin is emerging as a likely Prince of French House. While Fan Out is an excellent track, Easy Action and Silver Island are reminiscent of older sounds in French House, while also bringing out something really new. Silver Island has touches of that wonderful Justice bass sound, but pushes it to the back over new and more creative sounds. Easy Action has an extremely catchy and fun vocal sample backed by other awesome samples. All the tracks sound layered in a really exciting way. Overall, an excellent piece of work and probably the most innovative and exciting French House EP I've heard in a while.
