Will the real Myon & Shane54 please stand up?

     

Sadly, not the most inspired release I've ever come across. The tune does have a solid bassline and beat, but lacks the atmosphere and creativity of a quality progressive trance track. And of course, any experienced trance listener could tell that the melody is the exact same as Myon & Shane54's "Not A Lot Left" from 2008. It seems the artists have gotten lost in the oversaturated market of "beachy" trance. On the original alone, the album deserves a two, but the remix is a bit of an improvement. Daniel Kandi injects some uplifting pads and a soft, yet driving bassline that make for a solid remix. In short, the remix may be worth buying if you are a diehard trance fan, but overall, a forgettable release.
