Oh man
You want culture. Here it is. Miami University's Steel Drum Band is not only one of the best in the nation but it is one of the best groups of performers that I ahve ever seen. As a student here at Miami I feel that it is only appropriate to mention how talented these young musicians are. Kudoes to their amazingly talented director Chris Tanner! If you are interested in learning more and seeing Miami University Steel Drum Band (or an orchesta as the accomplisted steel panist Jeff Narell said) perform just make a trip to Oxford, Ohio, can't make the trip...MOST DEFINATLY buy this CD!

Great recording production, varied song selections and creative origional compositions! I love it.
Miami and Chris Tanner have in goin'.
The work done by the university's steel band and Chris Tanner is amazing. I love this album in particular. Chris Tanner, who I find is one of the best instructors and musicians of pan (I have studied under him for a short time) never ceases to amaze me with the soul and feel of their music. I can't wait to see more albums coming in the future.
