Album Review
Since this band's name translates to "Bacteria," listeners would perhaps expect an aggressive and harsh sound, but the Latin pop trio offers just the opposite — a perfectly blended fusion of diverse Latin American melodies. Sin Verguenza is the Miami-based group's third CD, and it demonstrates a sophisticated mélange of the members' Brazilian, Colombian, and Puerto Rican musical traditions. Some of the tracks, such as "Sangre Americana," reveal more of a pop/rock focus with just a sprinkling of Latin rhythms, while others such as "Pasos de Gigante" present straight-ahead Latin music complete with horns and timbales. Lead singer/guitarist Jorge Villamizar's vocals are smooth and mellow, lending a hypnotic feel to bossa nova-flavored tunes like "En los 70" and "El Algun Recuerdo." All in all, this album supplies a pleasing mix of pop/rock music with Latin sensibilities.

Get contaminated by the Bacilos
The name "Bacilos" literally means bacteria. That's pretty cool because when I listen to their music it's almost like I'm "contaminated" by it. The music is awesome and they blend different rythms and sounds very well. Though the lead singer is not that great with singing he has a calm voice that is enjoyable to listen to. This album is a great buy. GET CONTAMINATED!!!!
colores, colores!
i heard colores, colores in my spanish class one day when we were learning the colors, and this song is awesome! the only spanish song i have on my ipod but awesome still, i dont know abou the rest of the album tho
Buena musica
Los bacilos son muy buenos, y a mi maestra de espanol le encanta tu cancion "Colores Colores." Ella lo juega para nosotros ayudarnos aprender espanol, pero pienso que los bacilos pueden escribir canciones mejores, pero la musica es tan buena.
