The music is amazing. After you go you'll leave smiling and singing
Saw by chance, loved it!
I saw this show by chance on the first preview show (3/24/11). It was such a funny show with great music! I've never seen so many sequins in my life! Every song was amazing. Nothing bad to say about the Broadway version of Sister Act! Everyone should go and see it. Not a single bad voice in the cast!! 5 Stars for the first preview show!

Distinguished composer/lyricist Alan Menken is responsible for penning many of the catchiest tunes from Disney features of the late '80s onward, including such chart-toppers as "Whole New World" (from Aladdin) and "Colors of the Wind" (Pocahontas). Menken is a graduate of New York University and got his start when noted playwright Howard Ashman chose him and Lehman Engel to write the music for his 1978 adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater.
