Get ready for something diferent.
Damn. On this album Hamilton takes a slight detour via the "indie rock" route and comes back with something new that doesn't forget the road that lead him there. "Frame to Finish" most closely resembles his older work, while "Enough" and "Hanging On" remind me of the Calexico and Iron and Wine. It is an album like this that makes me wish I didn't have to wait so long between Nathan Hamilton albums.

A native of Abilene, TX, singer/songwriter Nathan Hamilton draws on his rural roots to create vivid and sometimes startling images of small-town Americana. Having decided against a career in advertising, Hamilton transplanted himself to California in his early twenties to focus on acting and play writing.
