Brings Back Memories

Having spent several years growing up in Oz, this CD brings back memories for me. I saw Ian Moss in 1982 when he played in Cold Chisel. He was awesome then and is great here too. I recommend listening this and the old Cold Chisel CDs if you can get your hands on them!

Bright star from pole to pole

Talk about a steal of a deal. So many first rate songs from such a fine jewel of an artist. Forget that he's not home-grown, he's one of Australia's best kept secrets. This CD is engineered to perfection. The intensity and clarity is spot on with sensational guitar licks coupled with a hard hitting brilliant voice. Green River does John Fogerty proud and you can hear the similarities in voice best in this rendition. That would be Fogerty at his youthful peak, not to say Ian Moss doesn't have his own unique and very gifted voice. Don't let this one slip away.

very good and foot stomping

Not much for reviews, but this album makes one want to write one. Very good, seems comfortable with his music, he likes it and passes that enjoyment on. Better than any $1.29 song they sell on this for profit site. Hope the artists make some off of this. But again, I think the rock label is a misnomer created by marketing. This music varies from rock to folk and back again... great stuff.

The song went to number one in Australia in March 1989 and his debut album, Matchbook, was released in September. It also...
