I love the Foo Fighters

Are you serious that I'm the first review?! Am I the only person on Earth who likes the Foo Fighters?! These acoustic versions of these songs are incredible. Acoustic songs really show how good the singers voice is,and Dave Grohl is an incredible singer. Don't not buy the album because it's acoustic. Its just like a normal live cd. I actually forgot it was acoustic. Thats how good it is. The best song on this album is best of you because its just like on In Your Honor, and just as good. If you dont buy the whole thing, buy Best of You.Youll love it

Foo Fighters are much more than hard core rock

It is sometimes missed by people the talent level of Foo Fighters and David Grohl in particular because it is often hidden beneath their hard core alternative rock and Grohl's screaming, gum chewing and cussing. But make no mistake, Grohl is a musical genius and Foo Fighters are his homage to music. This acoustic Foo Fighters ages well and demonstrates not only Grohl's talent as a musician, but also as a song writer. This digital recording is no fluke. Anyone who has read anything about Grohl knows Grohl has spent his whole life honing his craft. This is a special talent. Enjoy.

Giving the fans what they want.

Anybody who is a fan of the foo fighters, and not just a track here and there, understands that what makes this band great... is that Dave puts his heart and soul into the vocals like nobody else in this business. And you can feel it here. Perhaps not the album of choice if you're not familiar with the songs or the band, so in that respect maybe this album is for people who are already fans of the Foo. For me personally - there's a rawness here that just really accentuates everything I already love about this band. Great stuff.

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

During the last dark days of Nirvana in 1994, tapes of Dave Grohl's solo demos circulated among alt-rock royalty. Greg Dulli commented positively about them in more than one place, but few suspected that these homemade tapes would launch one of the biggest modern rock bands of the post-grunge era. As it turns out, that’s exactly what Grohl’s Foo Fighters became, perhaps the one band of the alt-rock revolution to enjoy continual success on the charts and on the road without a dip in popularity. It...
