Chill out extraordinaire!
D:Fuse is probably better known for his banging club sets than this type of material, but that might change after the release of Skyline Lounge. With partner Hiratzka, he has created a brilliant moody adventure perfect for the cocktail hour! It's got just enough bounce to keep it from getting sleepy, but is chill enough to make a good home listening album. Vocal contributions from DJ Rap, Govinda and Kristy Thirsk are a stellar addition to the album as well. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up.

Producer, remixer, drummer and vocalist D:Fuse is first and foremost a DJ for the people. He says, “Music is about life; music is about people. It is my life dream to bring music to the people. If I can make just one person lose themselves in the music, then I feel I’m giving something special back… from something I’ve been given.” The inspired music man has his own radio show on XM Satellite Radio (XM80) called “The People’s Mix.” He also has his own music channel on Delta Airlines and he hosts an after party show on L.A.’s KBIG (104.3 FM) on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month starting at 3 AM. The biggest news for D:Fuse right now, however, is his partnership with internationally known club DJ/producer Mike Hiratzka, the launch of their new recording label Lost Angeles and their brand new release SKYLINE LOUNGE. For us here in the Smooth Lounge, excitement in the nu music movement comes when artists pull from all mediums and resources to deliver distinctive performances. SKYLOUNGE LOUNGE does just that. This sultry and provocative project features live, melodic instrumentation including guitars, bass and percussion, violins (provided by Govinda), vocal performances by D:Fuse and Hiratzka as well as special guest vocalists to create a soulfully inspiring collection of songs as tempting as a warm, palm-swaying, light-sparkling, Southern California late night. Perfection
This is by far some of the best music I've heard in a long time. The vocals in "Overkill" are amazing and "Breathe In" is SUPER sexy. In Suspense is by far my favorite...love the club mix You guys did an awesome job!!
