BUY!!!! BUY!!!! BUY!!!!
I have been amazed and moved by the music this great band is making. These guys are only sophmores with this album and I already can't wait to hear what is next. I hope MTV hears some of these great tracks off the new album and we hear these guys again during our favorite shows. Nascar and The PGA played "California" now maybe we'll hear "The Cool Kids" on Sunday during the NFL. Buy this album!!!! You won't be dissapointed.
Love Atherton
I love this cd! beginning to end. It some how puts me in a relaxing mood. Just as good as their first album.
Sophomore Grand Slam
Easily one of the best records of 2007, this album is a quantum leap from their very good debut album. Between the band's inspired playing, the amazing writing, and some beautifully unintrusive production, Skyline Motel nails it. Sing You A Song nudges us inside the car of a decaying relationship. I Held The Roses sits us just inside the bars of a prison cell. She Leaves A Light On is a heartbreaking portrait of a war widow. Every song's music is the perfect match for the mood and story of the lyrics. Amazing record that should've gotten more praise than it did. Recommended for listeners of: Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, Ryan Adams, Wilco, The Damnwells, The Frames
